“Don’t cry because it’s over, Smile because it happened.” – Ted Geisel (Dr. Seuss)
Pets play a very special role in our lives providing unconditional love, loyalty and companionship. Often for many, many years. We love our pets in the same way we do our other family members and the loss of a pet often invokes the same feelings of loss that we experience when we lose human loved ones.
Emotions that you may experience around the loss of a pet can include depression, confusion, denial and guilt. Golden State Pet Crematorium partners with Good Therapy SF to provide our clients with bereavement support to help cope with these feelings. The clinicians at Good Therapy SF are available to our clients to help you before and after the loss of a pet.
Please reach out by email to: [email protected] and they will contact you to set up a complimentary 15-minute phone call.
In person and video sessions are also available.
